I am currently undertaking my Masters in Fine Art. My practice base is photography/video/installation. My theory base is within feminism, sexuality, gender and the personal. Much of my work reflects on the use of language and the appropriation of roles to create gender models, as well as the reality and impact of difference. I work on a freelance basis with LGBT youth groups mainly in the North West. These include Lik:t (Young lesbian and bisexual women's health Project - a national group), LGYM (Lesbian and Gay Youth Manchester) and LGBT Youth North West amongst others. I facilitate art based workshops in Photography, video, graphics and other art subjects. I also facilitate confidence building workshops and feminism/LGBT history research workshops and projects. I have also worked/volunteered for many LGBT and women's groups over the past 20 years, ranging telephone help lines (Lesbian Line) to LGBT arts organisations (Queer up North) My website www.traceygue.co.uk for a more info and a few pictures!
