The central focus of GKP is the use of information and communications technologies to expand participation of all stakeholders in the production, dissemination, and use of knowledge and information so as to achieve sustainable development.

 

United Nations Development Programme

United Nations Farm and Agriculture Organisation

FAO is one of the largest specialised agencies in the United Nations system and the lead agency for agriculture, forestry, fisheries and rural development.
Since its inception, FAO has worked to alleviate poverty and hunger by promoting agricultural development, improved nutrition and the pursuit of food security - defined as the access of all people at all times to the food they need for an active and healthy life.
