Research interests 

I am leader of the Visual Modelling Research Group.

My main interest is in diagrammatic reasoning and modelling. The VMG's web pages contain most of the details of my research.

I am Co-Chair of the Second Workshop on Visual languages and Logic (VLL2009) to be held at VLHCC 2007 in Corvallis, Oregon, in September 2009, having Co-Chaired the First Workshop on Visual languages and Logic (VLL2007) at VLHCC 2007 in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, in September 2007.

I was also Program Co-Chair of Diagrams 2008, held in Herrsching, near Munich, September 2008 and General Chair of VLHCC 2006 held in Brighton in September 2006.
